Sharon Allen is the Hydro-therapist at Brentknoll Vets in Worcester.
Sharon qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1998, she initially joined the Brentknoll team as a Vet nurse in 2007, however her passion for rehabilitation lead her to pursue a career as a qualified animal hydro-therapist.
“I have an amazing job, I get to have fun with dogs that really enjoy swimming and my job is extremely rewarding. I meet dogs that need careful rehab following injury, surgery, chronic disease or those that require weight management; I really enjoy watching them improve from week to week and gradually return to normal health. Sometimes I see dogs that are initially nervous in the water, it’s great to help them become confident swimmers and it really brings them out of their shells. Most of my swimmers are always happy to come to the practice are are excited when sitting in the waiting room.” Read More
