Paula Fisher – Stokes is the animal manipulator at Brentknoll Vets in Worceser
Paula has been treating small animals (mainly dogs and cats ) for many years having originally trained as a Chiropractor using the McTimoney Technique in 1989. She had a thriving practice treating people alongside her animal practice for over 17 years before turning her attention purely to small animals as an animal manipulator
Paula works on musculoskeletal conditions varying from the arthritic senior dog to the fit competition athlete. She has treated champions in all fields from the show world, agility and obedience.
“It is a great pleasure working with the team at Brentknoll. Their combined skills enable the animals to have integrated health care and this is the ideal environment to provide the most appropriate treatment when they come to see me.
I have been using the McTimoney Technique for many years and its gentleness is one of the key factors to it’s success. Animals tolerate the treatment well and are happy to come on a regular basis when necessary.”
As a senior tutor at the McTimoney College, Paula tutors to the students in their final year of their two year post graduate Masters degree. She has lectured to various animal health groups from breed clubs to colleges and has lectured to fellow practitioners as part of their continued professional development.
